In this picture Widow Regina Awori (middle) is 82 years old. Her husband died in 1979 leaving her with only one son, Onduri John. In 1989 she gave her heart
to Jesus in a Pentecostal church, and has lived as a Christian ever since. In December 2006 her only son and his wife were both killed in a road accident,
leaving Regina to care for her two grandchildren, Julient Aketchi aged 9 (left), and Lawrence Awori aged 7 (right). It is a hard life for an 82
year old widow to bring up 2 children in Uganda, but as a member of Logos we want to help her to provide a reasonable life for them and herself.
